Few years ago I was asked to participate in an outdoor artwalk event that was being put together in my town. The idea was to bring the art to the woods, and it could be in any media. That sparked my imagination and I decided to crochet a couple of mushrooms and “plant” them in the woods. I got so hooked, that I ended up making many more than a couple. Putting them in the woods in clusters and seeing how everyone reacted to them was a rewarding experience.
Now, when the project is over, I still have those red mushrooms around my yard, and they bring me much joy!
